Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II News Update….

Over at Fangoria.com they’ve conducted an interview with Producer Gary Smart and Director Kevin McDonagh for Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II documentary. There’s a lot of good information in here and McDonagh hints at the possibility of having further documentaries on each film if this one is successful. I would love to see a documentary on Hellraiser: Bloodline and to learn even more about its disastrous production history.  Here’s quote taken from the interview.

MCDONAGH:  It’s definitely a possibility. As I said, we’ve talked about it and we’ve picked up a lot of information along the way about the rest of the franchise. I guess audience demand will help push us one way or another, but if the feeling was strong enough I’d definitely sign on to make further documentaries about HELLRAISER.

Sadly it doesn’t appear (as of right now) that Clive Barker is going to participate. But really what more can he say on the matter? I remember him making a comment that always stayed with me on the Anchor Bay dvd special edition that was released back in 2000 which was, “This is the last time I talk about that son of a bitch movie.” So I don’t think we’ll being seeing him on here but you never know.
