Possible Sample from the Scarlet Gospels?

Over at the official Clive Barker Facebook page I came across this post shared by Ellison Hawker Bookshop. It appears to be a small sample from the upcoming novel The Scarlet Gospels by Clive Barker. Here’s what they had to say and a picture that they posted that seems to be taken from the actual manuscript.

Officially preorders start Monday, but why not start on a weekend? Ladies and gentleman, I present to you the fate of Pinhead in Clive Barker new book, “The Scarlet Gospels”. This work will be the sequel to the Hellbound Heart and is only the second book to feature Pinhead (despite his, well, too many movies). In Clive’s words, “…Having long grown out of its ‘short story’ format, The Scarlet Gospels (the long-awaited Pinhead versus Harry D’Amour story) continued to expand to at least 230,000 words long. “. Out in March, we will be taking pre-orders on the normal edition from St. Martin’s press, along with the absolutely gorgeous Earthling limited hardcover signed copies (which will be pricey, I must warn).
