Plot Summary Revealed for Scarlet Gospels!!!
This is some big news right here. Over at the horror site iHorror they posted the first official plot summary for The Scarlet Gospels. At least this the fist I’ve seen of such a summary.

In the novel, a friend of Harry’s is taken hostage by Pinhead, and Harry, accompanied by four mismatched companions and an animal, must track his friend down into the lowest levels of Hell. Much will be learned about the nature of Hell, its creator, its inhabitants, about the Order of the Gash and Pinhead’s place within it.

Sounds like a damn good story. It will be curious to be see if Clive Barker will use some of the movie mythology in there as well or will this be a whole new Hell created from scratch? Either way I’m positive it will be great.

As the date grows closer (only a few more months!), I’m starting to fear for the safety of Harry, Norma and the dog…Or is it the cat from the Harrowers?
I think it’s a dog. I know Jose has made a comment on that in one our podcasts. I too fear for Harry’s safety. Norma will probably die. Just my opinion of course.
I think I always assumed it would be a dog just because Clive has about a dozen of them.
Yeah…Norma has been Harry’s confidant and trusted ally in his fight against the dark. Losing her would deliver a damaged D’amour into the final book of the Art. I do fear there are devastating losses ahead, and I’m not talking about the Lead Cenobite.
I’m hoping in future stories that Harry takes over the Norma type role and helps out another struggling person who’s trying to understand what the darkness is all about. I feel confident that Harry will come out of Scarlet Gospels alive but not without some heavy scars like you stated.
I’m now curious to know who the rest of the group is in the story?
I was also wondering who the other members of the group are going to be. CB has never even hinted at the rest of them. Most of Harry’s friends meet up with bad ends…Father Hess, Ted Dusseldorf…He doesn’t have many left. Maybe Norma knows some folks with other abilities that are going to help him circumnavigate the Gulfs.
