My Farewell to Pinhead…

Soon I’m going to starting a Retro Review series of the first four Hellraiser films, but before I do that I wanted to write a farewell letter to my favorite lead Cenobite Pinhead who’s being sent off in style by his maker Clive Barker in the highly anticipated novel The Scarlet Gospels. You might have to get some tissues because it might get a little misty in here:

Dear Pinhead,

From the first time I laid eyes on you I was astonished and amazed. How I wished to witness the sights you had promised but that little brat Kirsty got in the way. But it wasn’t long until we were together again, this time Hellbound with Kirsty and Tiffany trying to put you to an end. Your evil was captured in the Pillar of Souls until a rich boy named J.P Monroe unleashed you to create Hell on Earth. Your final return took you into deep space where the final descendant of the Bloodline that created the box finally put an end to your evil ways. You then went down a path known as Inferno, Hellseeker, Deader, Hellworld, and Revelations but those are like bad dreams that need to be forgotten.

You were a dear friend and I’ll miss you so much!
