Special Screening of Leviathan in Australia Has Been Cancelled.

Hi all- just to say we had to cancel tomorrow night’s screening of Leviathan at the Vanguard. If you bought tickets, you will be contacted by the Venue and they will arrange a refund. Apologies for the late notice. – Steve

Steve Dillion has posted on his official Facebook page Clive Barker Fans Down Under that on August 25th they’ll be showing the special 2 hour cut of Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II. Also, If you let him know in advance he’s going to try and order some copies to sell at the event. Steve has always done a wonderful job setting up special screenings for the fans in Australia such as The Nightbreed Director’s Cut and Candyman, the latter which he used to raise money for the Nepal crisis.

If you haven’t managed to get a copy yet, don’t worry, we’re doing a special 2-hour screening in Sydney later this month, August 25th. I will try to order some copies to sell at the screening if you let me know in advance.

With interviews and testimonies from those most closely involved, we hope to bring a comprehensive insight to these classic cult films.
Following the story of the films from their inception through production to release and the their subsequent lives and growing fan base, we aim to show fans and those less familiar with the films both the technical skills, the creative idea, the symbolism and the legacy of these movies.
Delving deep into the director’s vision and ambitions for the project we’ll be exploring where he came from, where his career had taken him and the inspiration for the story and world he created. We’ll be telling the story of his journey of making them and how close they came to his vision at the time and how he feels about them over 25 years later.
