Clive Barker Remembers Wes Craven
Like everyone else around the world, we here at the Clive Barker Podcast were saddened to hear about the passing of legendary filmmaker Wes Craven. Many of his peers have done tributes to him including John Carpenter and Robert Englund. Now Clive Barker has offered his condolences to the master on his official Facebook page:
From the first time we met Wes was a friend, generous in his support of my work and wonderfully witty when talking about the deceits and nonsenses he’d faced as he fought for his unique cinematic vision. Wes was a gentle iconoclast, a man whose sudden absence from the world has left me sad beyond words but grateful to have known him while he was still with us. – Clive Barker
Once again the podcast would like to send our condolences to his family and friends.
Sorry to be the grammar Nazi, but it’s Robert Englund, not England. Great post, nonetheless.
Doesn’t that make you a spelling Nazi?
Thanks for pointing that out Paul. It’s becoming a running joke around here with my grammatical errors. 🙂
