Candyman 2 Soundtrack Update

Clive Barker fan Jason Dowell has informed the Podcast that the release of the Candyman 2 soundtrack has been delayed until March. Thanks to Jason for letting us know.

Way back in October of last year we reported that One Way Static Records was preparing a special vinyl and cassette release for Philip Glass’s score to Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh, and for fans that pre-ordered a copy expect to receive it sometime this month. I like how OWSR timed this release with Valentine’s day right around the corner. As many of you know Candyman is a tragic love story which fits perfectly for the upcoming holiday.

On a personal note, I’ve always been a big supporter of Glass’s scores to the Candyman films. They play a big part in creating that mysterious world for the character.
