The Great and Secret Show Graphic Novel Omnibus
It seems Clive Barker’s classic novel The Great and Secret Show has been getting a good bit of attention over the last couple of days. Which is always a good thing to me since it’s my second favorite novel by Mr. Barker right behind Imajica.
Not only is there a new book edition coming out from Gauntlet Press, but there’s also a new collected edition of the twelve issue comic book adaptation of the story coming out as well.
The complete 12-issue series adaptation of Clive Barker s The Great and Secret Show is collected in this deluxe oversized hardcover by writer Chris Ryall and artist Gabriel Rodriguez. From inside a Nebraska dead letter office, Randolph Jaffe s quest to possess the Art sets into motion a battle between forces light and dark. This lushly detailed tale is equal parts horror, fantasy, and love by one of the masters of the genre.
Also included is the one issue adaptation of the short story Seduth which had the reader use 3-D glasses in order to get the full of effect of the visual aspect of the story.
Clive Barker’s The Great and Secret Show Deluxe Graphic Novel Edition will be released on September 20, 2016.
