Yattering and Jack to Be Featured in New Anthology

The Yattering and Jack will be included in a brand new anthology called Drive In Creature Feature. Evil Jester Press will be putting out the new collection that will also include stories from popular authors and comic book writers such as Joe R. Lansdale, Jonathan Maberry, Christopher Golden & Mike Mignola (Hellboy), S.G. Browne, Elizabeth Massie, Ronald Kelly, William F. Nolan, Lisa Morton, Taylor Grant, Joe McKinney. The book is being edited by Eugene Johnson & Charles Day.

The Yattering and Jack is about a gherkin importer named Jack Polo who’s being haunted by a minor demon called the Yattering. The demon is commanded to haunt Jack by Beelzebub, the “Lord of the Flies”, because one of Jack’s ancestors reneged on a pact made with the demon lord.

It’s a different kind of horror story that’s a bit more comedic than most of Barker’s stuff, but it works and it’s a fan favorite among Clive Barker fans.
