Bernard Rose Interested in Making Candyman Sequel!

It’s funny during our commentary for the original Candyman yesterday we talked about how we wished the series would somehow make a return to the silver screen. I personally think the series is dead unless they didn’t something completely wild with the idea. There are others though that believe Candyman should live on and original film’s director is one of them.

In a recent interview with the studio site Art of the Title Rose made this comments about doing a “proper” sequel:

“I would love to do the proper sequel. There are all sorts of reasons why it’s never happened. I think it would be great, but of course unfortunately I don’t control the rights; otherwise, I would just do it.”

He also went on to say that fans should “talk it up” to get Hollywood to take notice.
