Clive Barker Invades Stan Lee’s LA Comic-Con!
We’ve all been wondering what new projects have been brewing over at Seraphim Studios and today at Stan Lee’s LA Comic-Con the Real Clive Barker Crew were on hand to let fans know what they’ve been working on. And boy do they have some wonderful surprises in store for us!
Mark Miller first talked about the new books that are coming out soon which include the 25th Anniversary of Thief of Always. It will include thirty pages of brand new artwork. So that’s something to really look forward too. He also mentioned the forthcoming Infernal Parade, the latest volume of the Imaginer series, and the novel adaptation of the comic series The Next Testament.
The audience got to hear an exclusive announcement which is early next year, Crypt TV will distribute a short film produced by Barker. Nothing more said other than that. We’ll keep you posted as more news comes in.
Also, Thommy Hutson (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy) is in the early stages of making a documentary on the Clive and exploring the visions that he creates. Many of Clive’s most closets friends will be included in the film. So far Ashley Laurence, Anne Bobby, and Neil Gaiman are on board. Hutson mentioned that the launch of the documentary may coincide with the 30th anniversary of the original Hellraiser in September 2017.
The panel ended with the announcement of the new Hellraiser Anthology that was originally reported here this past week.
So I’d say Clive Barker fans have a lot to look forward to in the next year. I’m really looking forward to that documentary.
