Want to Develop a Movie With Clive Barker?
According to the fan mail from people thinking we’re Clive Barker you do. Now is your chance! Project Greenlight, Shudder and Clive Barker are teaming up on this film-making contest. Submissions open February 13, where you send in your pitch for a movie. The winner will be voted on by the public and a judging panel and move on to be one of the five finalists. Those Five will get to create a scene coo compete for the prize, a $300,000 budget and mentorship from Clive Barker through the production.
“When I was looking for financing while making Hellraiser, I wish there was a studio like Project Greenlight Digital Studios behind me,” Barker tells Heat Vision of the program, which is in partnership with AMC Networks-backed Shudder and Adaptive Studios. “Teaming up with Adaptive Studios and Shudder is a wonderful opportunity to support emerging filmmakers in finding the new horror icon. This is also a great chance to scare and entertain audiences at the same time.”
Submission window is February 13 to March 17, 2017. Upload your pitch at projectgreenlight.com which must be only 1-3 minutes for an original horror film concept.
