Crazy Train Radio’s ‘Hellraiser’ Watch Along with Cenobite special guest.
On Saturday, July 26, 2022, Crazy Town Radio, a Philadelphia podcast (established in 2012) is hosting a matinee “watch along” virtual screening of ‘Clive Barker’s Hellraiser’, that will begin streaming at 3 PM, EDT (8 PM, GMT+1). Accompanying the screening is a chat room open to fan interaction within the event and post film Q&A with one of the franchise’s actors themselves. For those who donate to the event’s programing receive entry into a giveaway featuring an autographed photo signed by the featured guest themselves.
Crazy Town Radio’s virtual watch party of ‘Clive Barker’s Hellraiser’, is being joined together by none other than returning guest to the podcast, ‘Clive Barker’s Hellraiser’ and ‘Hellbound: Hellraiser’ “Chatterer” actor, Nicholas Vince. Nicholas was last featured on the Crazy Town Radion podcast during a sit down interview at a convention appearance the summer of 2019. It was also at the same convention that Crazy Town Radio also had the opportunity to sit down with ‘Hellbound’ “Female Cenobite” actor Barbie Wilde, and years prior at Bizarre A.C. sat down with Hellraiser franchise “Hell Priest” (“Pinhead”) actor Doug Bradley.
More recently Crazy Town Radio also had the opportunity to sit down with ‘Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies’ “Morgana Truscott” actor Holly Fields and years prior also its director Jack Sholder.
Crazy Town Radio previously brought numerous watch parties of horror film franchises together with participating cast & crew, entries including ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’, ‘Friday The 13th’, ‘Halloween’ and ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’. This weekend will mark the watch along’s first entry into Leviathan’s labyrinth and liminal realms of the Cenobites in ‘Clive Barker’s Hellraiser’.
Speaking with Crazy Town Radio about the event, one gathers they’ll look to continue efforts to include further entries to Clive’s franchise with ‘Hellbound: Hellraiser’, ‘Hellraiser: Hell On Earth’, ‘Hellraiser: Bloodline’, and at BarkerCast we can always hope Peter Atkins will look to join them, and that we might see numerous other collaborating ‘Hellraiser’ cast & crew appearing in each.
It is also with hope Crazy Town Radio will look to feature Peter Atkins’s ‘Wishmaster’ franchise, and Peter might further entertain us with worlds of the Djinn, tales of Middle East & North Africa, drawing upon any existing parallels together between ‘Wishmaster’, ‘Prisoners Of The Sun’, and if Clive Barker’s original concept for a third Hellraiser entry as an Egyptian project has any direct influence on Peter’s starting points when captivating us with his treasures of our Eastern worlds.
