Candyman 4K Restoration Blu-Ray Coming Soon!

Over on Twitter, Candyman himself, Tony Todd, let slip that a 4K restoration of Candyman is coming soon, featuring commentary by director, Bernard Rose! This announcement was prompted when a fan noted that a proper U.S. Blu-Ray release of the film has never been issued. Tony Todd responded to the fan with, “Wait for the new 4k restoration of #Candyman w/off screen commentary w/@BernardJMRose coming soon.”

This is absolutely excellent news to hear; Candyman is undoubtedly one of the best Clive Barker film adaptations of all time (and is the initial film that initiated this Barker fan into the Cult of Clive) and its release cannot come soon enough!

We’ll update you once an official release date is set, but in the meantime let’s all start chanting “Candyman Blu-Ray” five times into our mirrors in hopes that it will make this release appear sooner!
